Lynette Linton
Lynette Linton took over as Artistic Director of the Bush Theatre in 2019.
She was previously Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse and Associate Director at the Gate Theatre, where she set up the Young Associate company.

Other productions include: Richard II (co-directed with Adjoa Andoh, marked the first ever company of women of colour in a Shakespeare play on a major UK stage) at Shakespeare’s Globe; House Of Ife and Chiaroscuro at the Bush Theatre; Assata Taught Me at the Gate; Function for the National Youth Theatre; This Is for Arts Educational Schools; Indenture for Dark Horse Festival; Naked at Vault Festival; a revival of This Wide Night at the Albany Theatre; and Sweat at the Donmar and in the West End. She was also co-director on Chicken Palace at Theatre Royal Stratford East.
As assistant/associate director: The York Realist, Belleville, The Lady from The Sea and Knives in Hens at the Donmar; Torn at the Royal Court; Image of An Unknown Young Woman, The Christians at the Gate; Gutted at Theatre Royal Stratford East; and The Lieutenant of Inishmore in the West End.
As a writer, productions include: Hashtag Lightie at the Arcola; and Chicken Palace and Step at Theatre Royal Stratford East.
