Members' Night: The Effect

The Effect is written by Emmy Award winner Lucy Prebble (HBO’s Succession) and directed by Olivier Award winner Jamie Lloyd (Cyrano de Bergerac at BAM, A Doll’s House and Betrayal on Broadway). It features Paapa Essiedu (HBO’s I May Destroy You) and Taylor Russell (Bones and All, Netflix’s Lost in Space) as the participants at the center of an illicit romance, alongside Michele Austin (This Is Going to Hurt, Cyrano de Bergerac at BAM) and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith (Olivier Award winner for Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) as the doctors administering the clinical trial.

Enjoy a pre-show reception with drinks and hors d’ouevres and prime orchestra seats to the performance.

Enjoy the Opening Night performance of Grenfell: in the words of survivors and stay on for an exclusive Opening Night Party at St. Ann’s Warehouse with the cast and creative team after the performance.

A powerful new verbatim play from the testimony of residents at the heart of the Grenfell Tower tragedy comes to Brooklyn for its US Premiere. Created from these interviews by Gillian Slovo (Another World: Losing our Children to Islamic State), the play is co-directed by Phyllida Lloyd (The Donmar Shakespeare Trilogy) and Anthony Simpson-Pike (The P Word).
